Ubisoft announced that beta will begin this summer for the new version of Ghost Recon for the PC in a free-to-play version of the popular Video Game. This is a different business model than Ubisoft normally goes by as they offer some of the most popular video games in the world for purchase such as Assassin’s Creed, Just Dance and many more titles.

The free online PC based version, based on Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon franchise, will allow players to select between three different Ghost classes and use some of the latest in military weaponry that will be customizable depending on options.

As with anything these days, nothing comes without a price. The game will be free to play but there will be a slew of premium features that players can purchase and opt in on. The company also stated they would hold events, offer ongoing content updates, and will provide live support for the new online game.
