The PSN store has had its ups and downs over the past few months. As of recently, Sony has announced that they will spend $20 million dollars to help support creators of PSN exclusives. Though the PSN crash definitely hindered (halted) sales from the PSN and certainly gained an untrustworthy reputation for the multimillion dollar industry, this news could help bring back PSN developers.
Uncharted 3: Drakes Deception is the third (obviously) installment to the Uncharted franchise. The game is exclusive to the Playstation 3, and the series has grown in popularity since Uncharted: Drakes Treasure. NaughtyDog released a multiplayer beta exclusively to Playstation Plus members, and Infamous 2 hard copy owners.
Three years ago, hacker George Hotz (AKA GeoHot) unlocked the iPhone. He made it possible for fellow computer junkies to make it so their iPhone could belong to any network. This nifty piece of work on Hotz part earned him plenty of street credit, but it wasn’t until his altercation with Sony that he really became famous.
Well, that was quick. Cyber attacking pros, Lulzsec, decided to call it quits this past Saturday after 50 days of terror. These hackers disbanded coincidentally less than a week after the arrest of a reported Lulzsec member. While Lulzsec denied any affiliation with this 19 year old arrested, the timing of it all seems quite suspicious. Did Lulzsec members get nervous?
